Ebonized Oak Oval Bowls

At Peterman’s Boards & Bowls, every piece begins with a fallen log from the New England woods. We shape what nature leaves behind — turning it by hand, sanding it smooth, and finishing it for everyday use.

You’ll find hand-turned wooden bowls and wooden cutting boards shaped for everyday use and meant to last. Each bowl has its own character and will differ from the images shown here.

Made in New England from upcycled Oak logs. The bowl is dipped in a solution of steel wool and vinegar which naturally turns the wood black. The bowl is then finished with a combination of Tung and Citrus Oils.
