Cat. #00104033232: JOYCE COMPTON

Uncommon vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch mustard yellow autograph album page, acquired in-person in September of 1933. Some mild creases; otherwise, in fine condition, and accompanied by a computer-printed image of the star. Charming blonde WAMPAS Baby Star and actress Joyce Compton played "dumb blonde" types in a long string of Hollywood A- and B-movies, including Imitation of Life (1934), Magnificent Obsession (1935), The Awful Truth (1937), Rose of Washington Square (1939), They Drive by Night (1940), Mildred Pierce (1945), Night and Day (1946), The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), Sorry, Wrong Number (1948), and Mighty Joe Young (1949).
